How to configure Internet settings for a proxy server

This article explains how to configure Internet settings for computers accessing the Internet via a proxy server.

If your computer accesses the Internet via a proxy server, you will need to configure your Internet settings. To do this:

1. Click Help | Internet Settings.
2. Select the Proxy Enabled switch.
3. Add the following details (see note):
   1. Proxy address and port
   2. User name
   3. Password
4. Click Close.
